What this notice covers
This notice explains what happens to information you give us through mymegahealth.com — the website itself. How we handle your protected health information as a pharmacy is a separate matter, governed by HIPAA and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information you give us
When you fill in the transfer or refill forms, you give us information such as your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, delivery address, current pharmacy, and the medications you take. We use it for one purpose: to process your request and contact you about it.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to target you with ads.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web host records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run advertising or tracking pixels on any page where you enter health information.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the site to function. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Who we share information with
We share your information only with the service providers who help us run the pharmacy — for example, the company that hosts our website and processes form submissions. Any such provider that handles health information has signed a Business Associate Agreement with us, which legally requires them to protect it.
We also disclose information where the law requires it.
How we protect it
Information sent through this website is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to pharmacy staff who need it to do their jobs.
Please do not send health information to us by ordinary email. Email is not a secure channel. Use the forms on this site, or call us.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information through it. Parents and guardians can of course request prescriptions for their children by calling or visiting us.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep. Prescription records are subject to retention periods set by law and cannot always be deleted on request.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
