First: is it urgent?
If you have symptoms like chest pain, trouble breathing, a seizure, severe confusion or thoughts of harming yourself, call 911 (or 988 for a mental health crisis). For medications like insulin, seizure medications, blood thinners, heart medications and inhalers, running out can be dangerous — treat it as urgent.
